Campers Pantry announced as 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards State Finalist
Tuesday, 9 September 2025: Tasmanian adventure-food company Campers Pantry has been named a State Finalist in the Building Communities category of the 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards, selected from thousands of nominations nationwide.
Based in Launceston, Campers Pantry produces premium freeze-dried meals, sides, and desserts that fuel adventures across Australia. What makes the business unique is its deep commitment to community: partnering with Loaves & Fishes Tasmania to create jobs and cook meals for the Schools Lunch Program, working with the Endeavour Foundation to provide supported employment in packing, and showcasing Tasmanian landscapes and local businesses through its innovative “Trail Map Series” packaging.
“This recognition is about much more than food—it’s about people,” said Andrew Jenour, Founder and Managing Director of Campers Pantry. “We’ve worked hard to build a business that supports local communities at every step, from cooking and packing to partnering with social enterprises. To be recognised by Telstra for Building Communities is a huge honour for our whole team.”
Clare, Brand Manager at Campers Pantry, added: “We believe great food brings people together. Whether it’s a shared meal on the Overland Track or supporting families through food relief, community is at the heart of everything we do.”
The Building Communities category celebrates businesses that work to make a positive impact on culture and society, creating opportunities so people from all walks of life can thrive.
Now in its 25th year, Telstra’s Best of Business Awards celebrates the achievements of small and medium businesses across Australia, providing a platform to further their success and inspire others.
