Tomas aka Tosher H / Tosh, didn’t get serious about hiking until 2017—but once he did, there was no turning back. What started as a love for outdoor gear quickly evolved into a need to test it in the harshest conditions possible. Whether he's navigating the wilds of the Western Arthurs, tackling a grueling Grampians Peaks Trail loop, or chasing sunsets at 5000m in the Andes, Tomas pushes limits. His preferred pace? Fast and light. His adventure style? Solo, always.
He’s summited Cerro Vallecitos and made a double attempt on Aconcagua, but he’ll just as happily knock out a brutal circuit in Victoria or pitch a tent mid-winter on the Northwest Spur of Feathertop. He’s drawn to big trails, alpine solitude, and the simple beauty of a sunrise after surviving a stormy night. (His tent did once fly away in 115km/h winds in Ireland—he got it back.)
When he's not out hiking, you might find him experimenting with Tenkara fly fishing (thanks to a nudge from AJ), tucking into a hearty German meal, or cracking a cold beer after a long trek—though Fernet Branca and Coke also gets a look-in.
With dreams of trekking the full length of South America, Tomas is the kind of adventurer who doesn’t just chase the trail—he lives for it.
